Brodie Taylor

BCCSDIP.ADVCANBHV

I have been working with dogs for over 10 years, I first began as a dog walker, I later opened a multi award winning structured doggy daycare centre and then went on to become a qualified dog behaviourist and trainer. Working with large packs of dogs for many years has given me crucial experience reading body language and understanding how dogs’ minds work. I believe that understanding your dog and learning an effective communication system is key to helping your dog through their issues, using calm, confident leadership to establish a healthy relationship with your dog can make the world of difference!.

I offer several training programmes to help you on the way to a better life with your dog. During your consultation/programme I will share my knowledge with you in a straightforward easy to understand manner, I will then send you videos and notes to help you stay on track.

I can help with just about any problem, whether that be obedience, fear and phobias, separation anxiety or my speciality, aggression and reactivity.

My Philosophy

Clear Expectations & Boundaries

Healthy boundaries and structure hold the keys to success. Learn how to tell your dog what you expect, helping them master impulse control and regulate anxiety and aggression in the process.

Clear consistent communication

Using marker words and obedience to teach the dog, what we do want and what we don’t want, rather than leaving your dog to make their own decision. Teaching your dog the right mindset to be able to access rewards

A Holistic Approach

I dont just look at the issue in front of me, I look at what could be contributing to that behaviour e.g. nutrition, exercise regime, pain or injury, owner and dog relationship, daily schedule, environment and many other contributing factors. I work to solve the underlying emotional response rather than just fixing the symptoms.
